Features: The MicroClave™ reactor is a miniature, high pressure & high temperature, laboratory batch reactor. It is used for chemical synthesis of corrosive, hazardous & very reactive chemicals as well as catalyst research.
Pressure rating is 5,000 psig (345 bar) & temperature ratings are either 650°F (343°C) or 1,000°F (538°C). HASTELLOY® C-276 material is standard; other chemical /petrochemical /corrosion resistant alloys are offered. Standard 50 ml capacity is suitable for lab use as a continuous stirred tank reactor (CSTR) & slurry reactor. Process connections in the standard, low closing torque cover allows the vessel to be lowered with lines attached. Standard Dispersimax® impeller draws headspace gas & vapors into the liquid; other impellers are offered. Sparging (via purge fitting), charging, sampling & external cooling coil process connections are ideal for chemical reactor. The stirred reactor uses a 5,000 rpm MagneDrive® magnetic mixer that eliminates dynamic seals for trouble free mixing. Optional process control instrumentation measures & controls temperature, mixing speed & pressure. Magnetically Coupled Mixers
Features: The MagneDrive® agitator uses rare earth magnets, permitting packless mixing at higher speeds and with higher viscosity fluids. Outer drive magnets, rotated by a direct coupled motor exert powerful attraction on the encapsulated inner magnet assembly. As the outer drive magnets are rotated, the inner magnets are actuated, resulting in rotation of the agitator shaft.
Contamination-free mixing- Packless design eliminates shaft packing and need for lubrication.
Zero leakage to atmosphere- The MagneDrive® is a sealed system, closed to the atmosphere, so even sensitive fluids can be processed safely.Continuous, high speed operation- No need to shut down in mid-reaction to change failed packing.

Features: Parker Autoclave’s ZipperClave®, with standard sizes from 500 to 4,000 ml, is designed for applications requiring frequent and/or quick opening of the vessel. The closure is achieved using a resilient spring or “zipper” located in a groove machined into the body and cover, and an O-ring seal. To remove the cover, simply release the safety sleeve and pull the zipper handle. A safety lock engages the spring when it is fully inserted.
Operating Pressure of 2,000 psi (138 bar). Maximum Temperature rating 450°F (232°C). Vessel ID’s of 3 & 5″ (76.2 & 127 mm), IL’s of 4.59 to 12.32″ (116 to 313 mm). Pressure Vessels
Features: The Parker Autoclave Engineers Bolted Closure (confined gasket) pressure vessels are widely accepted for their simplicity, ease of assembly and flexibility. Particularly suited to applications calling for agitation, they are full opening with the entire vessel I.D. available for cover openings and connections. Additional openings can be machined in the body flange and bottom of vessel. Parker Autoclave Engineers Bolted Closure vessels feature the Gasche™ confined gasket design for reliable sealing even at very high temperatures. It is shaped to effect a tight metal-to-metal seal on the body and cover and is reusable over many openings and closings of the vessel.
Operating pressures of 2,000 to 6,000 psi (138 to 413 bar). Operating temperatures to 1,400° F (760°C) at reduced pressures. Standard vessel ID’s from 1.51 to 6.5 ” (46 to 165 mm), IL’s from 7 to 24″ (178 to 610 mm). Optional O-ring gaskets available for lower temperature applications. 316SS standard. Features: Parker Autoclaves’ EZE-Seal® , in sizes 60 to 4,000 ml, is an easy opening vessel with the advantages of a bolted closure, without the high bolt torque. Designed with an easy to assemble loose flange, the EZE-Seal® also has a unique, reusable metal seal. Silver plating of the seal provides lubrication, and allows for many closure openings before replacement is necessary. If properties permit or the temperature requirement is lower, O-rings can be substituted.
Pressure ratings of 1,100 or 3,300 psi (76 or 228 bar). Maximum temperature ratings of 850°F (454°C). Vessel ID’s from 1 to 5″ (25 to 127 mm), IL’s from 2.06 to 12.31″ (52 to 313 mm). Double Delta metal seal permits easy and repeated closing. Optional O-ring gaskets available for lower temperature applications. 316SS standard. Process Instrumentation
Features: The Sentinel Series Controller is an integrated package utilizing a powerful Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) for all process control, monitoring, and coordination in conjunction with a touch-screen operator display unit. The Sentinel provides the operator with a concise point of control for all processes related to a reactor system. In its standard configuration the unit controls and monitors the reactor internal and external temperature, the speed of the mixer, and the reactor pressure.
Temperature Control by an internal thermocouple. Mixer Speed Control sensor attached to MagneDrive®. Pressure Control via a pressure transducer attached to reactor. Flow Control capability of one or two integrated Mass Flow Controllers (MFC). WatchTower Software allows up to four Sentinel units on a single workstation.
Features: Parker Autoclave Engineers (UHC) Universal Heater Controller provides the temperature required for the majority of our stirred and non-stirred reactor systems. The unit will provide the customer with a complete temperature control solution for his system including the optional data acquisition/control package if required.
PID control of electric heaters up to 15 Amps using internal circuitry. Adjustable setpoint ramping and auto tuning of temperature. An Over-Temperature control function will shutdown the vessel’s electric heater if the skin temperature exceeds alarm setpoint. An automatic reset function restarts the reactor when temperature cools below setpoint. 120/240 VAC, 50/60 Hz supply power capability.
Features: The URC II Controller is an integrated package utilizing a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) for all process control, monitoring and coordination in conjunction with a touch screen operator display unit. The URC II provides the operator with a concise point of control for all processes related to a reactor system. The unit controls and monitors the reactor’s external and internal temperatures, the speed of the mixture, and the pressure within the reactor.
Controls an electric heater, 120 VAC or 240 VAC (Internal 20 Amp Temperature Control). Controls an electric motor, 120 VAC handles a 90 VDC 1/2 hp motor, 240 VAC handles a 180 VDC 1/2 hp motor. 3-1/2” Diagonal Color Touchscreen user interface. Two (2) Type ‘K’ Thermocouples degree C or degree F readouts. Non-Latching overtemp control action. Closed Loop DC motor speed control. Pressure Indication Range up to 689 bar (10000 psi). User adjustable in the field. Extra analog input & output for controlling a single Mass Flow Controller or Mass Flow Meter, or an Analog Valve. Non-Latching overtemp control action. RJ11 connector for RS232 communication (the URC II comes with an adapter to adapt to 9 pin sub D). CE marked. UL/CUL listed. Can be used for all Parker Autoclave units, from 25 ml to 4,000 ml volumes. Pressure control and indication is set at the factory, options are available (contact factory for more information). Bar/psi pressure units. Tachometer sensor input. Pressure transducer input . Two (2) digital 120 VAC or 240 VAC outputs to operate solenoid valves. URC II controller is shipped with flying leads, but is designed to accept a standard 30 amp plug.

Features: The bolted closure reactor is a versatile high pressure & high temperature, laboratory batch reactor. It is used for chemical synthesis of corrosive, hazardous & very reactive chemicals / petrochemicals as well as materials research. The 5,500 psi @ 650°F (379 bar @ 343°C) pressure rating is based on the stress level limits of ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code Section VIII Division 1. 316SS & HASTELLOY® C-276 materials are standard; other corrosion resistant alloys are offered. Maximum Pressure is 5,500 psi @ 650º F (379 bar @ 343ºC). Metal-to-metal seals resists chemicals & extreme temperature. Standard capacity range of 100 to 4,000 ml is used as a lab continuous stirred tank reactor (CSTR) or slurry reactor. Process fittings in the cover (one for adding powders e.g. catalysts) allows lowering the tank with lines attached. Sparging, charging, blowpipe, sampling & cooling coil process connections are ideal for most chemical reactor processes. The MagneDrive® magnetic mixer used in the stirred reactor eliminates dynamic seals & assures trouble free mixing. It has a maximum speed of 3,300 rpm dependent on style of drive and customer process. The straight wall design allows access to the full diameter & depth of the reactor once the full size cover is removed. Optional process control instrumentation measures & controls temperature, mixing speed & pressure. Features: The EZE-Seal® high pressure & high temperature, laboratory chemical reactor is easily sealed using low torque. The “Double Delta” metal gasket creates a seal with low clamping force by a wedging action in V-shaped grooves. The 3,300 psi @ 850°F (227 bar @ 454°C) pressure rating is based on the stress level limits of ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code Section VIII Division 1. (An ASME code stamp is optional). Features: The Parker Autoclave Engineers’ ZipperClave® Reactor has been designed to provide the researcher with a reliable quick-opening closure. The main seal of the reactor is an O-ring available in many different materials. The 500 ml and 1,000 ml units are identical in design as well as the 2,000 ml and 4,000 ml units except for the depth of the reactor. Conversion kits are available between the four sizes. Many combinations of standard components are available. The cover of the unit remains fixed in the stand to permit opening of the vessel without disassembling any process connections.
