Alternative Power Sources
Features: Parker’s TEC thermo-electric battery chargers deliver power to your data, communication and automation applications regardless of available sunlight or inclement weather. TEC-8 supplies 12 or 24 volt batteries with up to 6.3 watts of continuous power, regardless of available sunlight that could limit solar panel applications. TEC’s small, robust, self-contained package makes installation quick and easy and virtually eliminates theft and vandalism.
• 6.3 watts of continuous power from natural gas or propane
• More reliable than solar panels
• Less expensive than electrical hook-up or solar panel systems
• For flow computers, volume correctors, transmitters or communication systems
• CSA approved for Class I, Div 2
Features: Parker’s DB1 Differential Pressure Battery Charger is a versatile alternative to solar panel systems that are used to power electronic instruments on gas pipelines. Unlike solar panels, the DB1 can be installed in almost any location and is unaffected by shade, snow, freezing rain, ice, or dust build-up. In applications such as wireless communications at remote monitoring sites, the DB1 produces a 12- or 24- volt power output to keep the battery fully charged. The battery’s temperature and charge level are continuously monitored and the DB1 produces up to 50 watts to keep it charged.
• Operates with no carbon footprint and without consumption or emissions
• Charger output is used to charge a lead-acid battery
• Continually monitors the status of the battery
• Charge On Demand
• Unaffected by lack of sunlight, adverse weather conditions, or build-up of surface contaminants that reduce solar output
• Provides power when needed 24 / 7
Solar Pumps + Accessories
Features: The Graco Harrier+ Smart Controller allows you to automate any style pump. Utilizing time, cycle and flow run modes, the Harrier+ will provide an immediate ROI on costly chemicals, unnecessary trips to a well or pipeline site, and downtime.
The Harrier+ communicates via Modbus or cellular and can tie into existing SCADA networks. The web-based portal will allow you to collect, monitor, and analyze pump data.
The controller has 4-20 mA input and a 4-20 mA or 0-10 VDC output. It can accept inputs from any of the following devices: temperature, pressure transducer, tank level monitor, etc.
The Harrier+ is classified for hazardous location Class 1, Div 2, Groups A, B, C, D, and T4.
Features: The Graco Multipoint injection system allows you to control up to 8 injection points using a single pump and controller. Set, change, and remotely monitor the individual flow rates of each injection point to help reduce the number of trips to the well site and minimize downtime. Receive alarm notifications on your phone, computer, or smart device if any disruptions in operation occur.
The Harrier+ MPI Controller features Smart Logic for solenoid failure detection. The system will continue to operate while servicing a solenoid valve to help minimize downtime. In the event of a solenoid failure, alarms will identify which one needs replacement. The controller activates one valve at a time for maximum dosing efficiencies.
The KRAKN MPI replaces up to eight chemical pumps with just one when used in conjunction with the KRAKN MPI fluid manifold. Pair it with Graco’s Harrier+ MPI control box and chemical pumps for best dosing accuracy. It is available from 2 up to 8 injection points, 316 Stainless Steel construction rated for 3000 PSI (345 Bar), using FFKM seals, and is C1D1 and GP.
The MPI can be integrated with all Graco pumps and installed in a full turn-key package. The package can come complete with a tank, pump, controller, battery, solar panels, etc.
